The snippet of a song at the 30 second mark is from Chico Science & Nacao Zumbi. The song is called Da Lama ao Caos.

Chico Science was an amazing musician from the mid 90s that popularized/created the Mangue Beat sound in Brasil.

That second song is on a Thievery Corporation CD, although it's a more chilled version than the one in the movie clip.

After some searching on-line I think the specific song name is Simbarere. Hope that helps.
