simple pleasures we take for granted

me: so how do you find the weather here?
Aida (the new Iranian PhD student in my lab) - so much better. plus, I can wear what I want to.
me: oh thats right, back home it would be different
Aida: yes, if I were dressed like this back home, I would be probably be in jail by now.
me: so you enjoy this freedom?
Aida: in some ways yes. Its nice to be free to do what I want and be independent.

She tried a latte for the first time and loved it.

Comments:
is she hot?

is he hot?

mix must claim responsibility for a prior comment.

the first two comments totally stole your thunder surya :P
true tho...the smallest tiniest everday things are the ones u take for granted..say for example safety pins.
and sticky tape.

always carry those with u.
(if you're a girl, that goes double for you)

dont ask.

is she hot?

if she's hanging with surya, damn straight she must be hot...he always bagged the cuties.
damn u surya.

wouldn't uall like to know...perverts

aside from her hotness, I think this highlights how key those tiny moments can be meaningless to some, yet so extraordinary for others.

it's early, so some of the words in the last one should be shuffled around a bit.
